Parent-Teacher-Student Association

In November 2011, Beacon joined the Rhode Island and National PTSA. This organization encourages students and their families to have an active voice in the school community. Beacon holds meetings the first Monday of each month to provide a forum for communication and the exchange of ideas.

In addition, the PTSA will conduct fundraising. The focus for 2011-2012 is a scholarship fund for members of the senior class. Thus far, we have held a very successful Holiday Art Fair and Bazaar and we are planning our annual yard sale for the spring.
